Is sales a team sport at your organization?
Why a strong sales team will outperform a strong salesperson any day of the week.

Ok, I’m the last person qualified to give sports comparisons.
But hear me out…
Recently we held a HubSpot training session for a sales team.
The company was struggling to forecast effectively and track its marketing and sales performance.
Each salesperson was excellent.
But each person worked separately.
Each rep did their own research and kept individual notes. They used a wide range of messaging, documents, and tactics.
Weekly sales meetings were long and challenging because it was hard to get on the same page.
After configuring their new sales process in HubSpot, we began our training with this slide:
???’? ???? ????? ? ???? ?????.
An effective CRM provides a source of truth for your data, whether marketing, sales, CS, etc.
Using your CRM as a team ensures:
- Key information can be easily passed from person to person.
- Prospects and customers get a more personalized experience.
- Your team can easily share what’s working and what isn’t; and quickly make changes.
- Less time is spent on retroactive reporting because everything’s in one place.
Yes, there can be high-performing individual salespeople.
But I’ll take a high-performing sales team any day.
